0.6/1 kV PVC Insulated Low Voltage Power Cables (NYY)

YVV-U / YVV-R (TSE) – NYY (VDE) – Cu/PVC/PVC

0.6/1 kV PVC insulated low voltage power cables (NYY) are designed for the transmission
and distribution of electrical energy in fixed installations. These cables are suitable
for indoor and outdoor applications, including installation in cable ducts, conduits,
and underground systems with additional mechanical protection.

NYY cables feature copper conductors with PVC insulation and PVC outer sheath, providing
high mechanical strength, electrical reliability, and long service life under demanding
operating conditions.

Applications

  • Power transmission and distribution systems
  • Fixed installations in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
  • Cable ducts, conduits, and trunking systems
  • Outdoor installations with additional mechanical protection
  • Industrial facilities and infrastructure projects

NYY cables are widely used in low voltage power networks where reliable energy
transmission and mechanical durability are required.

Cable Construction

  • Conductor: Solid or stranded copper conductor
  • Insulation: PVC
  • Inner Filling: PVC (if applicable)
  • Outer Sheath: PVC

NYY cables are manufactured with copper conductors insulated with PVC and protected by
a robust PVC outer sheath. This construction provides excellent electrical insulation,
mechanical protection, and resistance against external influences in fixed installation
applications.
